What the job looks like

Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

  • Providing expertise to all scientists and project teams by applying the most advanced computational, modeling and simulation approaches such as population PK, population PK/PD, PBPK, exposure-response modeling, disease state, IVIVC and clinical trial simulations using data generated from Omics, biomarkers, literature and/or PK, PD and DMPK experiments
  • Providing pharmacometrics leadership and contributions to regulatory interactions and documents, internal and external audiences and scientific publications
  • Analyzing internal and external data to support interpretation and decision making for project teams with regards to trial design, dose selections, safety and/or effects of the product across populations under different conditions and in comparison with competitors
  • Reaching out to collaborate with the highest quality outsourcing providers and academia partners

 

What you’ll bring to the table

To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • PhD in Pharmacometrics, Quantitative Pharmacology, Computational Biology, Statistics, Data Science or equivalent
  • Working experience in Pharma or comparable industry
  • Demonstrated profound knowledge of Model-Informed Drug Discovery and Development,
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences, and systems biology
  • Proven experience in mixed-effect and first principles modeling, model-based meta-analysis and disease modeling, population and mechanistic PK/PD modeling
  • Proven experience with R, SAS, NONMEM and other PBPK software such as Simcyp or Gastroplus
  • Being able to work in a highly matrixed structure and with a high level of outsourcing
