What the job looks like
Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

  • Further develop Grünenthal’s global Social Media strategy 
  • Translate the Global Communication strategy into an editorial plan for our Global Social Media channels (currently LinkedIn and Instagram - the latter primarily for employer branding) in cooperation with our content creators, agencies and departmental experts
  • Develop and execute engaging content and formats across channels
  • Support the positioning of selected Executives on LinkedIn channels along a clearly defined topic canvas and profile
  • Serve as a sparring partner and advisor to internal stakeholders to support their needs regarding paid campaigns, implementation of new channels, etc.
  • Develop and execute a Corporate Influencer program
  • Provide Guidance to our affiliates worldwide to ensure consistency of tone of voice, corporate identity, creatives and delivery user experience of Grünenthal’s Social Media channels
  • Continuous community management with the support of an agency
  • Monitor and actively manage the Grünenthal Social Media Channel Landscape
  • Evaluate existing channels and content, optimise content based on KPIs
  • Keep Social Media policies and guidelines up to date, oversee and further develop global training programs for employees regarding the appropriate use of Social Media

What you'll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • > 5 years of track record in digital thought leadership for international organisations
  • Strategic thinking paired with implementation skills and a hands-on-attitude
  • Sound know-how of the mechanisms of Social Media; profound knowledge of the relevant channels and tools 
  • Editorial know-how and expertise in storytelling
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • Consultant personality, sovereignty in dealing with top management 
  • Affinity for cross-functional working and project management in an international matrix organisation
