What the job looks like
Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

  • Leading Grünenthal engagements with top global Key External Experts (KEEs) and global HCP groups and scientific societies in pain
  • Setting the direction for global MSL function, primarily to support scientific and clinical understanding of our products and the disease environment  
  • Identifying projects for collaboration globally 
  • in collaboration, developing an overall KEE strategy to support the portfolio across early stage, growth and established brands in close collaboration with the global brand medical leads and the country medical directors 
  • Managing a network of global KEEs to enable timely input to key strategic questions, including R&D product diligences or development plans 
  • Seeking to build insight into the needs of pain specialists and other relevant specialist 


What you'll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • Ideally MD or PhD by training, with experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • +5 years of experience in medical affairs; ideally in similar position
  • Experience in KEE network building and comprehensive knowledge of applicable compliance, legal & regulatory requirements
  • Preferably experience in managing various stakeholders in the ecosystem of healthcare, digital content management and knowledge about biological pathways of disease and available therapies
  • Excellent understanding of clinical practice, guidelines and existing standards in treatment of pain
  • Fluency in Business English, additional language beneficial
