What the job looks like
Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges such as:
- Develop and nurture strong strategic relationships with key suppliers and business partners to deliver, seeking to continually raise the bar, their performance objectives for the business.
- Support multi-year strategic plans for IT spend and supplier base development, including implementation of plans to maximize supplier performance: capacity, cost, quality, delivery
- Lead performance reviews with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to evaluate supplier performance and make recommendations to address issues and exploit opportunities.
- Establish IT supplier management practice (ITIL v4)
- Evaluating, selecting, and onboarding strategic suppliers, and maintaining their information in a Supplier Management Information System (SMIS)
Negotiate contracts and ensure our key suppliers adhere to what they’ve committed to, including meeting their contractual obligations and deliverables as well as managing supplier contracts through their lifecycle -
Establish a performance management to run a transparent cost structure, manage and monitor appropriate KPIs, track measures of cost optimization program

Establish a proactive and simple cost allocation process that includes the demonstration of the IT business value
What you'll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:
- Master degree in (business) computer science, engineering or comparable
- Experience in relationship management and negotiation of strategic contracts
- Direct experience in business units and diverse experience across functions
- Ability to analyze data, capture coherences and report conclusions for continuous improvement
- Competence in change management and the establishment of new processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Very good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
