What the job looks like
Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

  • Co-create the Development data and IT solution landscape and roadmap
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders and driving innovation
  • Build a trustful relationship with business leaders of Development
  • Orchestrate our stage gate/demand process to bring ideas to new IT solutions, helping Development to identify and promote the most beneficial ideas
  • Guide a product-oriented IT team that owns E2E all Development IT solutions
  • Act as project manager and ensure excellence in project set-up and execution 
  • Ensure E2E availability and quality of Development Solution Services

 

What you'll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • Master degree in (business) computer science or comparable
  • IT professional with a minimum of 5 years´ experience in international Pharma/Development IT
  • Strong background of processes and data in pharmaceutical development
  • Solid knowledge of Pharma Development IT solutions space, challenges and trends (e.g. Pharmacometrics Computational Platfom, PBPK modeling & simulation, Clinical Trial Design, Explorative Data Science, Clinical Data Science [Warehouse, BigData Platform], eTMF, R&D Advanced Analytics solutions)
  • Proven experience in project management of large, complex projects
  • Sound understanding of ITIL
  • Advanced project and process management skills as well as proven change management ability
  • Excellent verbal & written communication and presentation skills in English and German
  • Open-minded and strong-willed personality, who wants to move things forward in a team approach
  • Strategic thinker, outstanding collaborator and convincing communicator, who always keeps business benefits and quality in mind
