What the job looks like
Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communication plan and programming
  • Optimise and manage existing internal formats (such as Global Townhall, Global Leadership Conference) and channels (such as the intranet and Grünenthal engage app)
  • Develop new content formats to help employees understand and engage with the Grünenthal strategy
  • Provide strategic counsel to senior management on matters of internal and change communication
  • Work closely with Chief Editor and Business Partners to develop holistic communication programming to engage and align with organizational culture and strategy. 
  • Support organizational transformation and change with strategic communication planning
  • Lead communication around Diversity and Inclusion to engage staff internally and position the organisation externally 
  • Drive all communication efforts based on metrics, data and KPIs.
  • Act as business partner for the HR organisation and work closely with the Head Global HR and the HR leadership team

What you'll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • > 5 years of track record in Internal Communications/Employee Communication
  • >3 years track record of leading a team
  • >3 years experience with Diversity and Inclusion 
  • Strategic thinking paired with implementation skills and a hands-on-attitude
  • Sound knowledge of Internal Communications trends and channels
  • Experience with communicating holistically 
  • Editorial know-how and expertise in storytelling
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
