What the job looks like

Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

  • In this role you will lead the Digital Transformation office (DTO) and team and you will report to the VP of Strategy & Development operations.
  • You will be responsible for assessing, designing and implement the Digital and Industry 4.0 roadmap for the entire Global Operations Organization. This includes the implementation Digital roadmap to the entire end to end operations value chain.
  • Defining holistic digitalization strategy and supervise the implementation of the digital project portfolio.
  • Prepare the organization, systems and infrastructure to enable implementation of Internet of Things (IoT), data analytics…
  • Develop a digital academy concept.
  • You will provide and document digital assumptions, identify potential optimization cases and analyze impact.
  • You will need to influence from top management to operational stakeholders to guarantee their support for the implementation of digital roadmap.
  • You will support us building up governance and  internal knowledge to be in the vanguard of most innovative trends.

What you'll bring to the table

To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • You have a university degree, preferably in science or industrial engineer (MBA is a plus)
  • You have a broad experience leading global programs and teams especially implementing similar Industry 4.0 or digital transformation programs.
  • You have a demonstrated experience in operations, understanding business needs and opportunities for digitalization or automation.
  • Good knowledge about IT architecture and the interactions of different layers of the systems (MES, Scada, Data Lakes, IoT…)
  • Strong quantitative and problem solving skills combined with ability to analyze large sets of data,  pull out insights and then proactively communicate those insights to senior leaders
  • You are strategic thinker and a creative self-starter energized by problem solving and pushing new solutions and have a “hands-on” and “can do”-mentality
  • Advance knowledge in data analysis and modelling. SAP knowledge is a plus.
  • You are fluent in English; further languages (e.g. German, Italian, Spanish) are a plus
