What the job looks like

Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

  • Characterizing, establishing and re-stating the benefit-risk balance of assigned medicinal products
  • Signal management activities incl. signal detection, validation, and evaluation
  • Authoring periodic safety reports (DSURs, PSURs, PBRERs, etc.)
  • Risk management activities incl. maintenance of risk management plans, monitoring of risk minimization activities incl. effectiveness measurements
  • Be responsible for the safety input for assigned sub-projects (e.g. safety process subteams, label update activities, safety publications, due diligence projects) incl. interaction with other departments within Grünenthal HQ, Grünenthal local subsidiaries, and external stakeholders.

 

What you'll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • A scientific university degree in human medicine or pharmacy, with a doctoral degree
  • Preferably working experience in pharmacovigilance and/or medical writing
  • Profound medical and scientific understanding for assessing safety data
  • In depth interest in pharmacovigilance
  • Project management skills would be a plus
  • Very good knowledge of English language (both spoken and in writing); knowledge of German and/or Spanish would be a plus
  • Willingness to take responsibility and to proactively contribute to a high-performing, international team
