What the job looks like

Each day you´ll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

  • Accountable for defining, developing and implementing the Logistics processes standards and Framework across functions and markets / regions to assess the best Distribution and Warehouse network
  • Responsible to steer globally performance standards for Logistics processes, including regional performance monitoring and target setting as well as detecting, leading and executing jointly defined and agreed processes improvement initiatives (reports, KPIs,…) 
  • Implementing and roll out strategic initiatives to improve Warehouse processes, systems and tools globally and assure their sustainability
  • Establishing a close collaboration with Commercial, Sales organizations and others SC stakeholders to design new ways to manage and attend our customers like VMI, CPFR among others
  • Enhancing system capabilities by translating user requirements into functional requirements in alignment with IT (primary focus on SAP modules as O2C, M2O, F2D)
  • Following market best practices and recommend action plans while considering digital (industry 4.0) and customer trends
  • Ensuring ongoing integrity of training materials as well as the coordination and delivery of trainings and knowledge transfer
  • Responsible for the controlled and compliant implementation of process changes including all Change Management and Change Control processes (both IT and Non-IT related) as well as leverage on category management concept and industry analytics to source and secure Transportation and Warehousing Services

 

What you´ll bring to the table

To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • University degree with excellent track record, preferably in industrial engineering / supply chain (STEM MSc or MBA is a plus)
  • Green Belt Six Sigma Certifications & Supply Chain Certification (APICS/ IBF) desirable
  • Relevant years of professional experience in consulting and/or operations Supply Chain experience with focus on Logistics Processes (pharma sector is a plus)
  • Advanced Office skills especially in Excel and PPT and experience with SAP and ERP/WM/Master Data tools as well as profound understanding of advanced analytics and dashboard design and usage
  • Proven track record of achieving results through a process mindset & approach, with a strategic thinking and “can-do” mentality within an international professional environment 
  • A self- starter who has the ability to effectively manage projects, multiple priorities, timelines and change management
  • Excellent command of written and spoken German and English
  • Willingness to travel
